Shaun Weathers

Shaun Weathers is a Human Service Executive with AHRC Nassau. Starting his career in the field over 20 years ago as a Direct Support Professional, Weathers has dedicated his service to supporting individuals with I/DD to live enriched and fulfilled lives while promoting disability rights with key stakeholders and policy makers in the state and creating and promoting person centered services and programs within the organizations. Currently as the Senior Director for Programs with AHRC Nassau, Weathers leads the organization's Day & Residential Habilitation programs that provide person-centered services and supports to over 1,200 adults throughout Nassau County on Long Island. In addition, he co-chairs the agencies diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) committee which has a mission of ensuring the agency recognize and celebrates the diversity of its workforce and people support, as well fosters an environment where inclusion and engagement are valued as core organizational beliefs.
