Richard Banner is the Director of Advocacy and Person-Centered Practice for People Inc and has been working in the field of developmental disability for 43 years. His experience includes serving people with developmental disabilities in residential, educational, adult day programing, and recreational settings. He is committed to supporting inclusive communities for everyone and striving to create a space for everyone to contribute. Banner received the Public Policy & Social Justice Award from the Alliance for Innovation and Inclusion in 2020. He has been recognized for work in the community with people that are LGBTQIA+ with developmental disabilities in Western New York from Embrace of WNY in 2020.
