Melanie Forbes graduated from Red River College with a diploma in Disability and Community Support, and is currently pursuing a certificate in Program Design for Adult Learners through the University of Manitoba. Forbes loves the work that she does supporting people with intellectual disabilities, and has been working in the field in various capacities for over 17 years. Finding ways to explore and express her creative side is her true passion. At St.Amant, Forbes has the unique opportunity to use my passion for creativity every day, as she develops professional training opportunities for employees. She enjoys learning new skills and supporting others to learn and have those "lightbulb moments" of inspiration. Whether it is building a PowerPoint, or learning a new hobby, Forbes is in her element when she is trying something new.
