Matt Seubert

Associate Executive Director for Communication, Development and Equity, AccessCNY

Matt Seubert currently serves as the Associate Executive Director of Communication, Development and Equity at AccessCNY. He joined the agency in 2012 as the Development Director. AccessCNY was formed in January of 2015 as the result of the merger of two Central New York non-profits. AccessCNY has continued to grow over the years to meet the needs of the community and currently supports over 3,000 people with a disability or mental health diagnosis and employs over 1,500 individuals. Matt is responsible for all aspects of fundraising and communication for AccessCNY, including grant writing, major donor solicitations, estate planning, special projects and event management. Fundraising for AccessCNY helps provide services to individuals with disabilities. In 2020 Matt took on leading the AccessCNY's Anti-Racism efforts to fulfill the agency's mission of creating a community where all people belong. Matt is a Central New York native having graduated from SUNY Oswego with degrees in broadcasting and political science. Matt started his professional career at WRVO public radio in Syracuse where over fifteen years he served in various positions from on-air host to head of fundraising. In 2020 Matt was named Fundraising Professional of the Year by the Association of Fundraising Professional of Central New York and in 2021 received the Sales and Marketing Excellence Award from the Central New York Sales and Marketing Executives.
