Dr. Jacqueline Hayes

Jacqueline Hayes, Ph.D. is the Diversity and Inclusion Program Specialist at the New York State Developmental Disabilities Planning Council (DDPC). She has been working at the DDPC since 2013. She currently oversees the implementation of cultural and linguistic competence initiatives within the agency, including helping to lead the Community of Practice (CoP) on Cultural and Linguistic Competence in Developmental Disabilities. She also serves as the agency's Language Access Coordinator. She has a PhD in Latin American, Caribbean and U.S. Latino Studies (LACS) from the University at Albany, SUNY.
