Colleen Tapia

Colleen Tapia is the Quality Improvement Administrator for the COMPASS and CQL/Quality Enhancement for AHRC Nassau. Tapia has over 35 years of experience supporting people with developmental. Her career began in Direct Supports and she is now an Administrator at the third largest provider agency in New York State. Tapia was directly responsible for sharing the oversight and leadership for the agency in the Compass certification process and ongoing annual validation. Additional responsibilities include the implementation and oversight of the CQL accreditation process. Tapia co-leads monthly quality enhancement meetings, which encompass membership from every department in AHRC Nassau.
